Over An Alleged “Rowdy Behavior” Against Sen. Teahjay: Senate To Summon Sinoe Supt.

By Alex Yomah
The Senate Committee Chair on Internal Affairs, Gble-Bo Brown on Tuesday asserted that the Senate is expected to summon Sinoe County Superintendent, Lee Nagbe Chie for probe due to complaint filed against him by the county Senator J. Milton Teahjay.
Sen. Brown said the Senate takes serious exception for an appointed official of the Executive to spew insolence, denigrate an elected official- especially member of the Senate and as such, the Supt. will appear to give reasons for his action against the Senator.
According to him, Senator Teahjay’s complaint against Supt. Chie is due to what he termed as “sheer disregard” shown him.
Maryland County Senator recounted that Supt. Chie was summoned last year and came even though there was a delay due to the bad road conditions. He had to return at an appropriate time because the Senate was heavily engaged with scores of national issues.
“Since we have returned, we have to find a suitable time to have the Superintendent summoned to answer to allegations of insults and public humiliation claims by one of our colleagues, Senator J. Milton Teahjay,” Sen. Brown averred.
Senator Brown’s assertion followed Sen. Teahjay’s protest over delays to probe his complaint filed against his county’s Supt which was forwarded to the Committee on Internal Affairs headed by Senator Brown.
Even though Sen. Teahjay did not explain what caused the unwholesome attitude exhibited by the Superintendent, but claimed that Supt. Lee Nagbe Chie did all that he explained above.
