Liberian/Indian Businesswoman Violates Article 22?

A local business woman with both Liberian and Indian passports is believed to be the owner of several properties allegedly violating Article 22 of the Liberian Constitution. “Marpu” as she is affectionately called and believed to be in the possession of holding both Liberian and Indian passports is said to be the owner of several properties which is allegedly in clear violation of Article 22 of the Liberian Constitution.
According to Article 22 (A) of the Liberian Constitution, “Every person shall have the right to own property alone as well as in association with others; provided that only Liberian citizens shall have the right to own real property within the Republic”.
Paramjit Dhaliwal AKA Marpu believed to be in the possession of both Liberian and Indian passports #L006432/#0000771/#0132798 and an Indian Passport #B0250370 is believed to be owning several properties allegedly denying Liberians of said right.
Our investigation has unveiled that several questionable properties include a Transfer Deed from Madea P. Dhaliwal to Marpu P.Z Dhaliwal AKA Paramjit K. Dhaliwal dated July 21, 1998 for lot no 1 probated & registered on October 19, 1998 on Volume 62-98,Page 221-222-223.
Marpu is also in the possession of a transfer Deed from Mardea. P. Dhaliwal to Marpu P. Z. Dhaliwal AKA Paramjit dated July 21 for a Lot , probated & registered on October 19, 1998 on volume 62-98, Page 223-224-225, Transferred Deed from Mardea P. Dhaliwal to Marpu P. Z. Dhaliwal dated July 22, 1998 for lot No 471, probated and registered on October 19, 1998 on Volume 4-2001, page 339-340341 , a warranty Deed from Joseph K. Willie to Marpu P.Z. Dhaliwal dated November 22, 2002 from a lot probated 7 registered on December 4, 2002 on Volume 12-2002 page 25-26-27.
Our investigation continues to unveil the concealed machination of how Marpu acquired several properties when she came to live with her father in the late 1980’s.
Meanwhile, more details continue with the exposure about how she claimed to be born by a Liberian national called Zanie Zipporah Fleming.
