Former Administrator

Gray D. Allison High School in Monrovia has honored former Vice Principal for Instruction Rev. William Kilby for his distinctive services rendered to the school for over ten years.
The school recorded the clergyman’s ten years’ service recently at its graduation program and lauded him for what the current administration called outstanding contribution to the growth and development at the high school level.
His ability to work beyond his administrative scope of work made many at the institution to refer to him as the administrator without border. “Also, his firmness in upholding the rules of the institution and keeping both students and teachers in check, made many of us called him ‘Killer Bean,’” Deputy Defense Minister Prince K. Vincent said before presenting the Service Award.
The Deputy Defense boss observed that it is important to give a man his flower while he’s alive, thereby thanking Rev. Kilby for his dedicated and distinctive service to the Gray D. Allison High School for ten (10) years of his professional life.
Minister Vincent added that that the school administration is wishing the reverend well in his next career and hopes to see him in the nearest feature to serve the Ministry of National Defense family in other capacities.
Rev. Kilby has worked with several academic institutions and serving in capacities to include: Administrative assistant to the Principal, Registrar, and Academic Supervisor at Ricks Institute from 2005 to 2012, Lecturer, at the Grand Bassa Community College (GBCC) now Grand Bassa Community University, Lecturer, Adventist University of West Africa (AUWA), former Vice Principal for Instruction (VPI) Gray D. Allison High School. Presently, Rev. William P. Kilby,I, is serving as the Vice Principal for Academic Affairs at Ricks Institute, Virginia, Liberia.
Speaking minutes after receiving the award, Rev. William Kilby thanked the Gray D. Allison High School and the Ministry of National Defense family for acknowledging his hard work and service to the institution. Additionally, he hopes to come back someday to continue his service to Liberia.
Rev. Kilby is a 1984 graduate of the Bassa High School, a 1988, graduate of the Booker Washington Institute (BWI), 2003, graduate of the Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary (LBTS) where he earned a Bachelor in Theology-(B.Th.) a 2010, graduate of the Cuttington University of Professional studies, where he earned a Master in Education-(M.Ed.) and presently, a candidate for a Master in Public Administration-MPA) degree from the University of Liberia.
