The head of the National Traditional Council of Liberia, Chief Zanzan Karwar, has expressed dissatisfaction over how the country is being governed by the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC).
Speaking during at the Liberia National Bar Association’s one-day Community Dialogue Initiative held in Kakata, Margibi County, over the weekend, Chief Karwor said the government has failed to support the security of the country.
‘’We say, the Legislature should be the one to scare the Executive but we are seeing the Executive scaring the Legislature; this is not good at all for our country,’’ Chief Karwor revealed.
Chief Karwor explained that the timing of the printing of new banknotes is critical and untimely adding that it is not important now to print new money. “We want to know what happened to the 16 billion before the government can begin the printing additional new money,’’ he expressed.
“Leaving the seat of the presidency to act as party chairperson is not right because once you are the President, you have to lead everyone in the country,’’ Chief Karwor explained.
“We will not pay taxes in the country until the War Crimes Court is setup,’’ Chief added.
