A group of opposition women under the canopy of Unity Party of former Vice President, Joseph Nyuma and Liberty Party’s women of Senator Nyonblee Kanrga-Lawrence, as well as some Liberian women expressed their sympathy with Ex-Chief Justice, Cllr. Gloria Musu Scott for the loss of her daughter Charloe Musu at the Sinkor belt yesterday.
Recently, Cllr. Scott lost her daughter, Charloe Musu after being stabbed multiple times, thereby leading to her death at her house in Brewerville in an armed robbery case.
The women who pledged their unflinching support to Cllr. Scott which brought over thousands of women together at her residence, leaders of two political parties’ women was intended to present their position statement to Madam Scott.
Reading a prepared statement on behalf of the women groupings, the National Chairlady for Unity Party, Selena Polson Mappy, stated that the women of two political parties and Liberian Women are with the Cllr. Scott during these times of her trials- stating that, “This too will be gone.”
According to the Women groupings, Madam Scott has been a target of the Government’s operatives, the National Police, and CDC because of her stance against CDC government.
Responding to the group in a rather welcoming speech, Cllr. Scott, said it’s her hope that her daughter was with those women clapping and praising God-describing the deceased as an obedient child.
According to Madam Scott, God knows why her daughter that she termed as an obedient child died in such circumstances.
Cllr. Gloria Musu-Scott stated further that her daughter often went to school and returned in time, but was shocked to realize that God showed her purpose for life, only to see someone’s life just cut off like a candle.
