Few weeks ago, information was brought to the public concerning the critical situation at the Central Prison, where a shortage of food led to the starvation of numerous inmates. The prison authorities, constrained by limited resources, were forced to provide meals only to certain groups, leaving a significant number without enough sustenance. This development posed a serious risk of a potential jailbreak and heightened insecurity within Liberia’s biggest prison facility.
