By Bill W. Cooper

The CEO of the Citizens Action Committee (CAC), Philip S. Blamo, has criticized the organizer of the Movement Against President Joseph Boakai, Yekeh Kolubah and his planned protest against the government.

Rev. Blamo condemned and described the recently pronounced protest by the Montserrado County District 10 lawmaker as baseless and a witch hunt with an attempt to undermined developments in Liberia.

Representative Kolubah, a vocal critic of government, has been planning series of protests to demand accountability and transparency from the administration since its inception into power five months ago.

Kolubah, who professes to be a staunch opposition of existing govern has accused the Boakai-led government of corruption and mismanagement, and is inciting an action against the Presidency in the coming days.

However, the prelate argued that the protests are nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to undermine the government and sow discord among the population.

Rev. Blamo also emphasized that the Liberian people are tired of politicians flip-flopping loyalty for politicians’ own greedy ambitious hobbies which he said is far from seeking the general welfare of the country and its citizenry.
