The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications has honored one of its own for bagging a Master Degree in Economics.
The young Assistant Minister for Administration, Melvin L. Yealu, was honored by his colleagues for his academic achievement in Masters of Economic from the Cuttington University.
On Wednesday April 21, 2021 Minister Cooper W. Kruah Sr. presented a certificate on behalf of the senior staff at the Ministry in recognition of the Assistant Minister for Administration’s educational achievement.
According to Minister Kruah, he has always seen the Assistant Minister as his son and admired his hard work and therefore used the occasion to encourage other ministers as he also thanked them for the level of unity they have brought to help push President Weah’s Pro-poor Agenda.
Minister Kruah promised to lobby for other opportunities to help any of his deputies achieve their goal either in learning or traveling experience.
The honoree said he was speechless to witness and be part of such recognition. “Words are inadequate to express”, he stated.
He further added that, since his appointment at the Ministry, he has seen Minister Kruah not only as his boss but also as his father and appreciated the kind gesture of gifts from his colleagues and promised to continue to work in the interest of the government.
Assistant Minister Yealu promised to ensure that Minister Kruah’s achievements are accomplished and remembered at the Ministry as he also recognized the efforts of the new Deputy Minister for Operation for his hard work which has enabled the Ministry to move forward.
