The Minister of Post & Telecommunications, Cllr. Cooper W. Kruah Sr., has advised all employees to abide by the Coronavirus Safety measures.
On Tuesday March 18, 20, the Ministry of Posts & Telecommunications issued a release calling on all employees to abide by the safety measures in the face of the outbreak of the Corona virus.
The Ministry in its release stated that, its human resource manager has submitted a skeleton staff of 124 persons that will remain to run the affairs of the ministry while 254 persons would stay home and get pay but they should follow all the safety measures for the Coronavirus.
The release said employees placed on pay leave should respect the instruction and stay away from the building
“This instruction is in adherence to the safety measures instituted by the government of Liberia,” the release said, adding, “please note that this action is not intended to dismiss any employees.”
The release noted that, the Coronavirus is dangerous and has no cure and every Liberian is required to join the government to take any and all safety measures introduced so that the population is protected because of the past experience of Ebola.
