PAW Observes 92nd Annual Nat’l Convention

The Liberian West African Council (35 Episcopal District) Pentecostal Assemblies of the World INC. 92nd National Convention got underway Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Miracle, Praise and Worship Center, LWAC/PAW INC. J.J.Y Community, Liberia, West Africa, with a call for change to move the organization forward.
Addressing the Convention delegates in a special welcome remarks read on his behave by the General Secretary of the Council, District Elder, Esau Nimely, the Diocesan Bishop of the P.A.W said one of the most impactful words ever coined by the English language, is change.
He said what, how and why is change, and it is those questions that the faith-based organization will try to find answers for at this year’s national sitting.
The 92nd Annual Convention is convened under the there, “Don’t Wait For Change To Come To You; Become The Change,” with text drawn from Romans 12:1-2.
Bishop Dr. Leo Simpson lauded the delegates for the sacrifices they made to get to this year’s national Convention of their beloved organization, needless to say that they had to navigate some difficult and impossible roads just to be at the all significant gathering of Jesus Christ’s people.
He complimented the oneness Apostolic Pentecostal Assemblies family with the highest esteem and excellent wishes for the delegates spiritual and natural health as well as their personal wellbeing during the convention time, adding that “May the abundant grace of God attend your way for years to come.”
Bishop Simpson stated further that “Whether we like it or not, believe it or not, doing the same thing, because change comes to all; the convention delegates are to be strong through lots and lots of changes; some were good or bad, positive or negative.”
The head of the P.A.W in Liberia, appealed to the conventioneers to make best use of the next few days, by regularly and faithfully attending and participating in all of the carefully planned events.
The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World INC. leader on behave of the distinguished First Lady, Dr. Myra E. Simpson, District Elder At-Large, and Special Assistant to the Board of Director, LWAC/PAW INC. wholeheartedly welcomed the PAW family to the 92nd National Convention.
Among local churches that were present at the Convention during the roll call included; Have Faith In God, Front Street; Have Faith In God Buchanan, Grand Bassa County; Bethlehem Temple, Banjor, Virginia and the Burning Bush Tabernacle, Chicken Soup Factory.
Others included Bethel Temple, Kakata, Margibi County; Village of Hope Apostolic Church, Careburg; Miracle, Praise and Worship Center, J.J.Y Gardnerville; Calvary Church of Hope, Manshansue, Lower Bong County among other local churches expected to have arrived later.
The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World INC. is the largest most single Christian organization within the Pentecostal setting and was founded in 1926 in the United States of America.
