July 18, 2019
Dear Mr. President,
Greetings and peace be unto you, the administration and the people of our great nation and country of Liberia.
Few days from now, you will lead the parade for the one hundred and seventy second years of birth since our nation was declared, “A Republic,” and still remains hopeful and even stronger than yesterday. As a nation, we have made history by passing the age where many great empires and nations failed by their own hands and evil deeds, such as the Roman Empire and the Babylonian World, just to name but two. Yes, our faith was tested in civil strife and our courage was on trail and we have prevailed all to aim even higher.
While waiting with millions of exciting participants for the upcoming celebration, I want to take this time to thank you and your staff for addressing our many national needs from housing stalk, roads, the maintaining of a stable government and the rules of law of the land. Great way to start!
Unlike other July 26 in history, this one will be a grand one. It will be our day again, our dance and our song starting from settlement to settlement and from every county to county. May the day of July 26, 2019 be long and let the sun shine in its glory and brightness. Let the drums be heard from the Red Light of Monrovia to the beautiful beaches of Greenville and let the matching feet shake the earth even from Kanweaken City, Rivergee County to Grand Bassa County in honoring the braved men and women before our days.
Mr. President, it is my prayer that the history shall be kind to you by acknowledging your devotion, commitment to lead a peaceful country and with reason for the future generation to believe, “that you have left them with great nation far better than when you took over.”
Happy, happy July 26 of 2019 to you Mr. President, and to the people of Liberia. Thanks for accepting to be our humble servant and President. God bless you and our country of Liberia.

Sincerely yours,

Bishop Dr. Samson N. Slobert
