No Water At Gbarnga’s Administrative Building

Lack of water in the administrative building in Gharnga is hampering the smooth running of the county’s seat and creating hardship among the workers.

Speaking on behalf of workers, a lady assigned on the first floor frowned at the administration’s allege failure to run pipe borne water in the administrative building in Gbarnga.

According to many of the workers, the lack of pipe borne water is creating undue labor on ground that janitors have to go fetching water in the communities in order to clean the bath rooms.

“We are suffering going for water in communities just to flush the commode and that is worrisome,” the workers lamented.

“The administrative building contained many bath rooms and water system is lacking in the entire building,” the lady revealed.

In separate remarks, Jerry Kerkulah, said the delay in the confirmation of local authorities to steer the affairs of the county is also affecting developments in many of the sectors in the county.

Noting, “The overflow of garbage on the Main Street and communities is on the increase in Gharnga.”  

During a normal routine in Gharnga over the weekend, some women was seen hauling water in a five gallons containers towards the bath room while others were seen carrying empty containers on their heads.

When the HR Office was contacted, the office assistant explained that the newly appointed superintendent, Hawa Norris, is in Monrovia pending confirmation by the Senate.

Bong is among 15 counties that is eagerly waiting for the confirmation of local authorities that will steer the affairs of the county.
