NCCC Gets University Status In Sanniquellie

The National Commission on Higher Education has granted Nimba County Community College ( NCCC) full university status in Sanniquellie, Nimba County.
Disclosing this, the Vice President for Administration, Edwin F. kruah, said that Committees on Higher Education at the Ministry of Education have finally approved and granted university status to offer Bachelors degree in five disciplines at the NCCC in Sanniquellie, Nimba County.
Vice President Edwin F. Kruah , added that, the college will now be called , Nimba County University and will offer Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Mining Engineering, Primary Education, secondary Education and management respectively.
Speaking to citizens on Radio Nimba, Dr. Edward Wonkeryor, President of the university called on the citizens in the county to make use of the university by sending their children at that higher learning institution in the county.
Nimba is among counties in Liberia that boasts of highest public and private schools and school-going children in the country.
