Minister Kruah Praises Ahmadiyaa Muslim For Constructing Clinic

The Minister of Posts & Telecommunications, Cllr. Cooper W. Kruah, has praised the Ahmadiyaa Muslim Mission in Liberia for constructing a clinic in Ganta, Nimba County.
Minister Kruah made the statement when he officially cut the ribbon for the dedication of the health care facility and opening of a clinic over the weekend in Ganta.
“The Ahmadiyaa Muslim in Liberia and other partners are mindful of the importance of addressing some of the basic social needs of our people from the grass-root level in order to ensure an improved effort that determines good health care delivery which will consequently lead to the wellbeing of our people both in the urban and rural settings,” Minister Kruah said.
He noted, “The Government of Liberia, headed by President George Weah’s support for education and basic health care for the people of this country cannot be over emphasized.”
“We are therefore grateful to the Ahmadiyaa Muslim Mission in Liberia for buttressing Government’s efforts in making health care delivery a part of their services to our people,” Kruah indicated.
As a mean of encouraging other senior staff of the Ahmadiyaa Muslim Mission, he said, “To our senior officers of the Ahmadiyya Mission in Liberia, I want to encourage you to continue your good work for the people of Liberia and that we cannot pay you for all you have done for our People.”
He then paid special tribute to Dr. Abdul Haleem Arian for his services to the people of Liberia in the area of health care for over seventeen years
Minister Kruah also paid a special tribute to the head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim in Liberia, Naveed Ahmad Aadil for seeing reason to establish a health facility in Ganta, Nimba County that will bring meaningful contribution to Liberia.
“By establishing this clinic, the Ahmadiyaa Mission has committed itself to complementing government’s effort in providing health care for our citizens which will enable combat the spread of diseases in our communities, towns, and cities,” he added.
He stated further, “Gradually the Ahmadiyaa Mission is gaining ground in Liberia because between 1956 to date, the population of the Ahmadiyaa Muslim has grown to over 80,000 followers.”
