MCC, Center For Integrated Solutions Forge Partnership

The Monrovia City Corporation (MCC) and the Center for Integrated Solutions (CIS) have entered into a significant partnership aimed at fostering human capital development through education and training.
The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two entities.
The Center for Integrated Solutions, a Liberian firm renowned for providing technical assistance and capacity-building services, will play a pivotal role in this initiative.
According to the MOU, CIS will support MCC in establishing several key facilities, including a one-stop shop (City Service Center) for serving the city’s residents, a MCC Communication Center, a Remote Compliance Monitoring Center utilizing CCTV technology, and a Monrovia Palava Hut (Mediation Center).
A notable aspect of the partnership is the development of the Monrovia City Foundation, a platform designed to enhance guest services and introduce digital attendance systems for MCC staff.
The MOU also outlines the creation of customized training programs to bolster MCC staff’s skills and competencies in critical areas such as project management, financial management, grant writing, and community engagement.
CIS will organize workshops, seminars, and ongoing professional development sessions featuring expert trainers and facilitators and as well assist in the design and implementation of the MCC Innovation Hub, conduct research to identify funding opportunities, and provide project management support to MCC.
The MoU was signed by Mayor John-Charuk Siafa on behalf of the Monrovia City Corporation and Zuleka Woods, Chief Program Officer of the Center for Integrated Solutions and this collaboration marks a significant step towards improving service delivery and enhancing the capabilities of MCC staff, ultimately benefiting the residents of Monrovia.
