LNP Arrests 2016 Murder Suspect

The Liberia National Police has arrested suspect Sam Alieu Kemokai for allegedly murdering 29 years old Mercy Gbagah on December 4, 2016.
This unfortunate incident occurred in the Logan Town community after which the suspect absconded and has been on the run until he was arrested on April 9, 2022.
During the police probe with the relatives, it was alleged that suspect Kemokai wasted acid water on the deceased and when the crime was allegedly committed.
The deceased relatives further narrated to police investigators that after the accident occurred, the victim was rushed to the JFK Medical hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival by doctors on duty.
Meanwhile, the suspect is detained at the headquarters of the Liberia National Police undergoing investigation.
