The Inquirer is a leading independent daily newspaper published in Liberia, based in Monrovia. It is privately owned with a "good reputation".

Liberia To Set Up More Embassies

The government has assured Liberians in the diaspora that their country will ensure that embassies are established in any country where a considerable number of Liberians are residing once there exists no diplomatic mission to seek their interest.

Research shows that Liberia does not have missions or embassies in Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Equatorial Guinea, Namibia, Portugal Brazil, Argentina, among others.

However, President George Weah told journalists upon his return recently that he has mandated Foreign Minister Dee- Maxwell Kemayah to effectively begin to work on the possibility of establishing embassies in countries where many Liberians are and there is no embassy.

He added that the Foreign Ministry will make sure Liberia establishes embassies in all of the sisterly countries that Liberia has ties with and doesn’t have an embassy.
