Liberia Prepares For Pastor Kumuyi’s Global Crusade

Liberia is gearing up for a historic spiritual revival as the country prepares to welcome Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, the revered founder and General Overseer of Deeper Life Ministry, for a grand Global Crusade.
The anticipated visit is seen as a divine moment, with church leaders across the nation eagerly awaiting the apostolic presence of Pastor Kumuyi.
Pastor Kumuyi, whose ministry stretches across the globe, founded the Deeper Life Ministry in 1973 in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation.
The ministry has since grown to have a presence in nearly every country on earth, spreading the message of salvation and righteousness.
His upcoming visit in 2024 marks the fourth apostolic voice to bless the soil of Liberia in recent years, and the significance of this visit is not lost on the Liberian church.
Most church leaders in Liberia view Pastor Kumuyi’s visit as a prophetic occurrence that will ignite a spiritual reawakening in the country.
Many believe that this crusade will usher in an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, healing the land and empowering the people to walk in God’s purpose.
Pastor Kumuyi has been hailed as “The Prince of Preachers,” a title that acknowledges his profound teaching, anointing, and dedication to the Gospel. Now at 83 years old, his energy and passion for spreading the ‘Good News’ are as strong as ever.
Bishop Sam B. Oroge, the media consultant for the GCK Liberia 2024 Crusade, emphasized that the visit will not be a typical preaching tour. “Pastor Kumuyi is not just coming to preach and leave,” Oroge said. “Liberia, represented by Monrovia, will witness the power of God in every dimension. There will be visible and tangible manifestations of God’s deliverance and freedom for the people of this nation.”
The crusade will be accompanied by a powerful mobilization effort, with local church leaders already preparing their congregations for the event.
The National Overseer of Deeper Life Ministry in Liberia, Pastor Saoji Ajayi-Albert, is spearheading the preparations, coordinating efforts with a strong team of pastors and church leaders across the nation.
Under the chairmanship and guidance of Archbishop Isaac S. Winker, one of the most respected figures in the Liberian church, the mobilization team is making strides to ensure that every corner of the country is ready for the event.
One of the central themes of this year’s crusade is “The Great Escape in the Name of Jesus.” This theme reflects the belief that in a world filled with darkness and chaos, the people of Liberia can find hope and salvation through faith in Christ.
The crusade aims to draw the unsaved populace closer to God, offering them an opportunity to escape the challenges of the day by embracing Jesus Christ as Lord.
According to Bishop Sam, miracles are synonymous with Pastor Kumuyi’s ministry, and Liberia is about to witness an authentic demonstration of God’s power once again.
“The nation is set to witness signs, wonders, and miracles that will restore hope and bring revival,” he added.
In addition to the large-scale public crusade, Pastor Kumuyi is planning to invest deeply in Liberia’s youth through the IMPACT Youth Program.
Recognizing the importance of empowering the next generation, Kumuyi will spend quality time ministering to young people, encouraging them to lead purposeful lives anchored in Christ.
He will also hold a special session with gospel leaders during the Ministers’ Conference, aimed at imparting grace and wisdom to local church workers.
Pastor Soji, the National Coordinator for the crusade, described the event as a life-changing opportunity for both leaders and young people alike.
“No minister who desires a next level should miss this time,” he said.
Bishop Sam echoed this sentiment, stressing that spiritual fathers like Pastor Kumuyi are passing the baton to the next generation.
As part of the preparations, at least 13 districts in Montserrado County have already been mobilized. Church leaders report massive support, with districts 2-14 leading the charge.
Additional districts are expected to join the movement in the coming weeks. The turnout is a testament to the eagerness with which the Liberian people are anticipating Pastor Kumuyi’s visit.
In a gesture of compassion and care, Pastor Kumuyi’s visit will not only focus on spiritual revival but will also include free medical services for the Liberian people.
“This ministry approach is unprecedented,” remarked Bishop Sam. “The man of God is not just coming to preach but to give back to the Liberian people, and this will make a huge difference in the lives of many.”
As Liberia readies itself for this powerful encounter, excitement continues to build across the country. The crusade promises to be a defining moment for the nation, ushering in a new era of faith, healing, and transformation under the leadership of Pastor Kumuyi.
