The Presiding Judge of Criminal Court ‘C’, Blamo Dixon, has rescued himself from the Ex-CBL official’s missing money case stating reasons best known to him.
Making the disclosure yesterday, Judge Dixon said, “I’m constrained to rescue myself from the above titled cause of action for reasons best known to me without prejudice to the state.”
“While on my way to Grand Kru County, I was chased with another mandate recalling me to preside over the Criminal Court ‘’C’’ including Criminal Court ‘’A,B,C, itself, D and E officially opened for transaction of business for the August term of Court 2019 and the Court was opened on August 12,” Judge Dixon explained.
“The reason that I heard for my recall was that it was due to financial constrains to sustain me in my home County and it is clear to all that only the Chief Justice of the land is vested with the power to assign judges on rotational basis,’’ he stated.
He said in furtherance of the notice, the mandate from the Chief Justice also stated that, “By virtue of the power vested in me by the Constitution of Liberia and the laws in pursuance thereof, I hereby assign and command you to hold and preside over the August 2019 Term of the 12th Judicial Circuit , in Grand Kru County.”
