Gov’t Hails Austria On 61st Anniversary

President George Manneh Weah has conveyed a message of congratulations to the government and people of the Republic of Austria on the occasion marking that country’s National Day.
In his message to Mr. Alexander Vor Der Bellen, President of the Republic of Austria, President Weah expressed warmest congratulations to the Government and People of Austria on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia, as they commemorate the historic occasion marking their National Day.
The Liberian President stated that as the people of Austria celebrate this great day, he looks forward to closer collaboration with their government to further strengthen the rule-based international order that will ensure global peace and security.
President Weah recalled Austria’s monumental role in promoting international peace, the rule of law, and human rights; and expressed hope that the two countries’ longstanding bilateral cooperation will continue to grow from strength to strength for the mutual benefit of their two peoples.
He then wished for His Excellency continued good health and for the friendly people of Austria genuine progress and prosperity.
