Goalkeeper Wants Youth National Team Call-Up

Philippines-based Liberian goalkeeper Augustine Daddy Foley says he is open to play for Liberia’s youth national team.
The 6’2 height 24-year-old goalkeeper who plays in the Philippine Afro Amateur league with Super Ranger, last played for JB Korkei, a feeder side to Liberian club Keitrace Football Club at that time when the club was in the LFA first Division league in 2018.
“I am prepared to play for the youth national team at the moment in helping my country qualify for major competition” Foley told Journalists doing an online interview recently.
Foley; “If I am given the chance, I will feel happy to help my country progress to major competitions.”
According to the Liberian international goalkeeper, a call up to the youth national team will be a big step and he will use that opportunity to showcase his goalkeeping talent to football fans across the country.

Background of Augustine Daddy Augustine D. Foley
Augustine Daddy Foley, born 15 December 1999, is a Liberian goalkeeper who plays for Super Ranger FC in the Phil Afro Amateur league in the Philippines.
Foley started his football career in Jacob Town New Hope Peace Island where he was one of the best goalkeepers in District Number two. Montserrado County.
The young goalkeeper began his career at the age of 14 by practicing as a strong and brave goalkeeper while in high school.
In 2016, he signed his first contract at the age of 16 for JB Borkei a feeder club to Keitrace FC under (Coach Stephen Tarr).
At JB Borkei, Foley played two seasons and was promoted to the first team “Keitrace FC” in 2017 due to his excellent performance under the late Gabriel Jones as head coach.
In 2018, he traveled China to forward his football career and education as a computer science student.
By July 2020, Foley moved to Philippines to pursue his career and education where he is currently playing in the Phil Afro Amateur League.
