Briggs From Melvin Ellis’ Death

The Executive Protection Service (EPS) is disappointed in the accusations that the late Melvin Ellis was killed by his colleague in Tappita, Nimba County.
In his Monday, September 19, 2022, social media broadcast, Henry Costa alleged that Melvin Ellis was killed by Seward Briggs also of the EPS.
The Executive Protection Service terms such an accusation as reckless, unfounded, and baseless as the late Melvin Ellis committed suicide in Tappita, Nimba County in plain view.
Following the death of the late Melvin Ellis, an investigation was conducted by the LNP and it was established that the cause of death was suicide, which happened in the full glare of fellow agents and other bystanders.
The EPS wishes to state that the accused serviceman, is in no way connected to the death of Melvin Ellis.
With this, the EPS is calling on Mr. Costa to retract his statement.
The EPS remains a professional entity committed to the respect, dignity of all persons and the rule of law.
