Church Set Ablaze In Ganta

Unknown persons are believed to have set ablaze the Better Way Word of Life Ministry International Inc. Church in Ganta City in Nimba County over the weekend.
Speaking to this paper in Ganta, Madam Rebecca Behn, disclose that Police assigned in Ganta are investigating several of the church members who are allegedly linked to setting the church building ablaze on August 24, 2022, at about 12, 30 A.M in the LPMC community .
The Better Way Word Of Life Ministry International Inc. is among deliverance churches operating in Ganta that can boost of huge members during its deliverance services.
Since the beginning of this year, the church has been rocked by confusion among some of the leaders over its ownership which many residents believe might have contributed to the burning down of the God’s worship center.
Speaking on the same issues, the Mission Pastor, Thomas Kruah, disclosed that the robbers took away 54 pieces of plastic chairs from the church before setting the church on fire.
According to pastor Kruah, members of the church have agreed to rebuild the church but because of financial problems, some members are still finding it extremely difficult to carry out the project as planned.
Pastor Kruah is appealing to Senator Jeremiah Kougn, Representative Samuel N. Brown and other philanthropies to help the church with materials such as zinc, steel rods and cash to rebuild so that the good news of Jesus Christ is spread throughout the county.
Pastor Kruah explained that the case was reported to the LNP in Ganta and investigation is ongoing while the church project according to the senior pastor is estimated at US$. 22,000.
When this paper contacted the LNP in Ganta, CSD Officer Preston Gonpue, confirmed the incident that several persons are undergoing Police investigations to establish facts.
