Bong Officials Conclude Retreat On County Development

A group of government officials, under the nomenclature ‘Sons and Daughters of Bong County’ has concluded a major retreat in the County.
The retreat which was held in Zowinta brought together appointed officials and people from the private sector to discuss strategic ways to advance the county’s development agenda.
Tormue Queminee, a Senior Staff at the National Social Security and Warfare Cooperation (NASSCORP) told journalists that the primary objective of the retreat is to create a unified vision for the county’s progress, ensuring that Bong County moves forward with clear and effective plans.
He further noted that the retreat aimed at fostering development and strengthening governance in Bong County.
Queminee emphasized the importance of collaboration among all leaders to tackle the county’s challenges, while also seizing opportunities for growth in infrastructure, education, healthcare amongst others.
According to him, the retreat was an opportunity for appointed government officials residing in Bong County and people from the private sector to come together, align their efforts, and ensure that the government’s presence is felt in every corner of the county.
Moreover, Queminee at the same time, called on government appointees to maintain a strong presence in their respective roles, ensuring that citizens feel the tangible impacts of good governance.
He, however, explained that the retreat also focused on fostering communication between local officials and the citizens they serve, stressing transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to the needs of the people.
He admonished the government officials to remain committed to their duties and work towards building Bong County.
