Anti-Corruption Activist Thomas Nah Is Dead

The management of the Liberia Revenue Authority has confirmed the death of Commissioner General, Thomas Doe Nah, in a post on the LRA’s official Facebook page.
Nah, who took over as head of this institution several years ago, has been undergoing medical treatment abroad for a protracted period.
The official Facebook post did not state the cause of death or in which country the LRA CG died, but he was recently reported to have been taking treatment in India.
Before his appointment as head of the LRA, Doe Nah founded and headed the Center for Transparency and Accountability in Liberia (CENTAL).
A graduate of one of the United States Ivy League Universities after getting his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Liberia (UL), the fallen LRA boss also worked at the Liberia Bank for Development and Investment (LBDI) and the United States Embassy in Liberia.
