1st Lady Weah Constructs Elderly Home

The 1st Lady, Clar Marie Weah, has constructed a 30-bedroom facility for the elderly in Own-Your-Own Community in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County.
According to a release from the Office of the First Lady, the Decontee Home of the Elderly was constructed as a personal initiative of the Clar Hope Foundation.
The 30 self-contained rooms in the home will help reduce the homelessness crisis faced by some elderly citizens including their families within Buchanan and will certainly provide them the much needed durable housing security.
As part of the ongoing presidential county tour, President George Manneh Weah accompanied his wife to inspect the facility on April 21, 2021.
