Misplaced Appointees In Government …say Bishop Suku

The Bishop of the Freedom Christian Fellowship Ministries International has described the recent appointees by President George M. Weah as being misplaced in the government.
Bishop Dr. Pah K. Suku Sr. stated that the misplacement of appointees in the government is creating serious problem for the effective functionaries of various ministries and agencies to move the nation’s developmental agenda forward.
Bishop Suku made the assertion on Tuesday in an interview with this paper in Monrovia. According to him, the reason why things are happening in the country contrary from toward the vision of President Weah is based on political affiliation and not on the qualification of appointee’s specialization.
He noted that this is posing serious challenges for the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) led government to advance the developmental drive to enhance the living standard of the ordinary people.
Bishop Suku stressed that President Weah should appoint individuals who are willing to work with their passion and patriotism toward nation building and pointed out that the government has been proceeding wrongly over the years through the process of allowing paramount chiefs and clan chiefs to be presiding over issues of national concern across the country.
He indicated that this will generate huge public criticisms against government if individuals who are not specialized, to function in certain ministries or agencies.
Bishop Suku explained that President Weah should appoint individuals who are willing to work for government to transform socio- economic development of the country.
