Big Boost For Athletes Skill Development

The Chief of Office Staff to former District 11 Representative candidate, Thomas Tweh, has described the performances of high school athletes that participated in the just ended Original Country Man (OCM) handball tournament as a boost for the athletes’ skill development.

He explained that the tournament was sponsored by Dr. Tweh after he was contacted by officials of the Liberia National Handball Association (LNHA) to help sponsor their association’s high school handball tournament and he assured them of his sponsorship to the tournament annually.
Vonziah said, “Dr. Tweh, in time back, was written by the LNHA to help them in terms of sponsorship because they are having the passion to promote the game of handball and they have come to seek sponsorship from him and that Mr. Tweh is a man who loves sports therefore, he decided to help them in sports development and summited a budget of US$3, 500 per year that would be used by the LNHA to run this particular sports and so that amount was used for the just ended tournament while Tweh assured them of his continual support.”
