Kouh Pursues Majority Shares In Determines Girls FC

Reports gathered by the Inquirer Newspaper has unearthed that the former Vice president for Operations at the Liberia Football Association, Cassell Kouh, has desired and is currently pursuing majority shares in LFA upper women’s league champions side; Determine Girls Football Club.
Sources closer to both Determine Girls and Kouh Football Foundation over the weekend confirmed to this paper sports reporter that the two parties are currently working behind the scene to formalized the negotiation that has been on the table for couple of days now which heavily influenced by the president of Fassell Football Club that is about to be reintroduced to the Liberian football community during the upcoming league season.
An official of one of the two parties confirmed that the potential buyer has presented to the Determine Girls current management and offer of U$70,000 for the majority share which is sixty percent of the club’s ownership.
According to our sources, Mr. Kouh has informed the leadership of the women’s champion club that his involvement in getting the requested share for the amount proposed is not going to take effect on the team’s current status as the women champion for the past season but will begin to prepare the team for their upcoming Confederation of African Football Women’s Champions League.
There is a conversation currently ongoing between Kouh and the Determine Girls Football Club as it relates to the buying of shares.
“The FC Fassell boss has proposed an amount of U$70,000 for a 60% in the women champions which the management is reviewing and negotiating to have formalized in the coming days,” a member of the negotiation spoke to this paper on accounts of anonymity.
He explained that Kouh has clarified to them that the token of purchase is going to benefit the current administration and management of the team along with the prize of U$20,000 won from the just ended women’s league championship as the winners.
This report further revealed that the deal is nearly completed and the team has expressed it greatest will for the passionate football developer to look in their direction as he plans to have the first ever squarely women football academy program initiated in Liberia.
Officials and some players of Determine Girls Football Club have described it as the new deal for growth in their participation and performance in the women football arena not just in Liberia but Africa and the rest of the football world.
Over the years, Determine Girls Football Club have proven to be one of the best women football clubs in the country making different representations of the country at the confederation level during the women championship.
In the last three years, the girls were able to win three Upper league championships with the Orange Cup and the Liberia Football Association Orange Super Cup.
With the pending relationship and sealing of the deal with Fassell’s president, the team is prospecting to have a structural reform to elevate their participation in the league going forward for the years that the relationship will cover.
