In a momentous event that brought together influential religious figures from various ministries, the Christian Interdenominational Assemblies (CHRIDA) Ministry has ordained key members of the ministry, in a spectacular ceremony filled with gratitude and spiritual significance.
The CHRIDA Ministry, known for its commitment to promoting spiritual development, compassion, and positive change, selected a distinguished group of individuals to be ordained and entrusted with the responsibility of leading and inspiring others.
Borne out of a deep-rooted desire to bridge the gap between civic responsibility and spiritual growth, the Ministry also sought to recognize notable individuals whose work aligns with the Ministry’s core values.
Those ordained were Pastor Thomas Papee Garty as Reverend; Pastor Koiyan Kolaco as Reverend, and Pastor Prince Satiah as Reverend, while Ministers Wadeh D. Zolu, James N. Chero, and Wilmot Broh were all ordained as pastors.
Others were Sis. Catherine Gray, Mrs. Korpo Saydee Dennis, and Mr. Alfred B. Dorley, who were ordained as Deacons, while Mrs. Augustina Betty Tamba, Mrs. Amy J. Herring, Sis. Josephine Kpah Smith, Sis. Wlehnee Sherman Logan, and Bro. Morris Cooper were all ordained as Ministers.
The ordination ceremony, which took place Sunday, August 20, 2023, at the CHRIDA House Of Testimony edifice in the Zubah Town community, adorned with vibrant decorations, attracted an audience from various walks of life.
Esteemed guests, clergy members, dignitaries, and supporters of the CHRIDA Ministry all gathered under one roof to witness this transcendent event, as the atmosphere was abuzz with an air of anticipation, as everyone eagerly awaited the start of the remarkable celebration.
The proceedings commenced with heartfelt speeches delivered by leaders of the CHRIDA Ministry, including the General Overseer of the CHRIDA Ministries, Rev. Aloysius W. Kpadeh, who highlighted the importance of spiritual growth and the immense impact it can have on the public sphere.
Rev. Kapdeh, delivering his sermon, also stressed the significance of recognizing individuals who have utilized their esteemed positions to positively influence the Church, emphasizing that the ordination was a testimony to the symbiotic relationship between spirituality and leadership.
As the ceremony progressed, each individual was called to the center stage, where they were bestowed with a sacred stole, symbolizing their newfound responsibility and commitment to guiding and enlightening others.
Some of those ordained thanked the Church and its leaders for recognizing their services to the church over years, and vowed to continue their unwavering dedication towards the growth and building of the Ministry across the country.
Meanwhile, the ceremony also garnered attention, not only for the ordination of distinguished figures but also for the underlying message it conveyed. The CHRIDA Ministry sent a powerful message about the importance of incorporating spirituality into the pursuit of professional excellence, emphasizing the need for ethical leadership in all sectors of society.
Following the ceremony, attendees had the opportunity to engage in fruitful discussions, forging connections, and nurturing relationships among the diverse group of luminaries in attendance, and as the ordination ceremony concluded, the air was filled with a sense of renewed purpose and strengthened resolve.
