It is being historically established for the first time in Liberia that two legally registered and accredited media institutions under the laws of Liberia have formed a media merger styled as X-Ray Global Incorporated.
The media merger brought together the X-Ray Newspaper and the Global Media Incorporated.
The X-Ray is managed by Mr. Steve Doito while Global Media is owned by Mr. Sebo Daniels.
With the concealing of the meager, the two media entities have lost their original identities.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Doito and Daniels said, their ultimate aim of forming such a merger is to work together to better serve the public and to galvanize resources as well as maintaining stability on the newsstand.
They have pledged collectively to provide quality media contents from a team of experienced and credible professional media practitioners committed in providing credible, objective and independent balanced information to keep the public duly informed and advertising contents that are valuable to the reading public.
X-Ray Global is anticipating to officially launch a raffle draw in the amount of LD$50,000 on a weekly basis that will be supervised by the National Lotteries Authority (NLA).
According to Doito and Daniels, the aim of the weekly raffle draw is to stimulate its readership in Liberia and that will boost its circulation that will not be limited to only Montserrado County but will target Grand Bassa, Margibi and Nimba Counties amongst others.
Meanwhile, the management of X-Ray Global said it is targeting over 5,000 readers and the recruitment of sale agents is in the process and advised that interested individuals should take advantage of its online platform at www.x-rayglobal.com
