Western Cluster CEO Honored

The Federation of Youth Against Illicit Drugs in collaboration with the Bomi Independent Civil Society Organization (BICSO) has honored and certificated Western Cluster CEO, Joseph Coelho, as Ambassador against illicit drugs abuse in Liberia.
The program was held on Friday March 22, 2024 at Dewein District, Bomi County with several individuals including students, women, elders as well as staff of the company in attendance.
Given an overview of the program, the Executive Director of the Bomi Independent Civil Society, Sonie B. Yates, disclosed that the program was organized to certificate individuals who have played meaningful roles in the fight against drugs in Bomi County and Liberia at large.
He said drugs abuse is one of the major causes of youth people been out of decision making process in their towns, district and county.
He added that it is the right time that government pays attention to the danger posed by illicit drugs in Liberia.
Mr. Yates used the medium to call on young people in leadership and reasonable individuals to join the fight against drugs and substance abuse.
Presenting the certificate of honor to the Chief Executive Officer of Western Cluster on behalf of his institution, Mr. Sonie Yates highlighted the numerous gains and efforts Western Cluster’s CEO Joseph Coelho continues has made in ensuring that young people stop the intake of illicit drugs.
He named the creation of jobs for the youth of Bomi Mines where the company is currently operating. Receiving the certificate of honor, Western Cluster CEO, lauded the Federation of Youth Against Illicit Drugs for the honor and for certificating him and by even thinking about the Western Cluster family.
He expressed joy over his new title as Ambassador Joseph Coelho; something he highly appreciates and promised to work with the Federation of Youth Against Illicit Drugs.
The Western Cluster boss assured his company’s fullest support in fighting drugs in Bomi County and Liberia.
