As the United Methodist University comes to the closure of another semester, students of the institution give their impression on the semester.

I am a second semester freshman student from the Nursing department. I’m so happy that I had a successful semester. All of my instructors presented their courses very well and I never had much challenges during this semester, unlike the past two semesters. My school fee was on time, and I was well focused on my lessons, and I know by the help of God, everything will be good and I will get good grades from all of my courses.

I want to say thank you to Dr. Gono, president of this university, and all her officials, for making this semester a remarkable one. I’m looking forward to another semester and hoping things be in line as always.

I’m a first semester sophomore student of the United Methodist University, majoring Criminal Justice. I see this semester to be a very short semester, because of the graduation preparation that was ongoing. Students were put in rush to pay fees, but this semester actually seems to be the best, to be honest, even though the administration was demanding students to pay their fees, but we were still allowed to take our exams without putting us out from the exam hall. The only thing we need to do is to pay our fees before seeing our semester grades, which seems to be in the interest of the students.

Let me appreciate all of my instructors, even though I didn’t get hundred percent from those instructors, but at least I was able to get eighty percent from them; their presentations were okay. The school administration did very well for us to have a successful semester, and I am excited to be a student of this university.

I am a student of Mass Communications Department, I grade this semester as one of the best, but one of the toughest semesters as well. I’m saying this because, as a communications student, there’s a lot of work. We need to know what we did before the semester ended. We had numerous assignments; we did lots of presentations to go in line with the semester.

I will describe the communications instructors as tough and flexible, and students of the Communications Department have different instructors, different presentation styles. Like for my 411 class, my instructor is Mr. Livingston who allowed us to present international summary every class time and local briefing as well.

I can honestly say that this semester was one of the longest semesters in the history of UMU, cause students were able to consume all of their notes, but one thing I want to bring to the attention of the administration is the graduation planning. When it comes to the distance of the event during graduation, the school will have people coming from all angles to grace the occasion; so, I think it will be better to have it at a convenient location for the betterment of the students.

I’m very excited that this semester is coming to an end, even though I never had enough courses because I’m a graduating student.
For this semester, I did only Public Administration 417 and Sociology 308 because I’m a student of Sociology PADM. I felt encouraged waking up every morning to come on campus, so I can say that the semester was not that short; but to the graduating students, it seemed very short to us, because I know some of my friends who never started the semester but came late and had to adjust themselves to the lectures.

Today I’m feeling so happy leaving United Methodist University; I’m proud of myself that I can showcase UMU anywhere. I know we will not learn everything in school, and so I’m going in the larger society to learn more and extend my career to another level. Many thanks to the school administration for playing her role as a university and understanding the condition of students in times of titration.

I am studying Mass Communications as my major. Firstly, I can say that this semester was a bit short, but overall, it was actually successful. Most of the instructors attended their classes and presented their lectures very well, so I grade it as a successful semester.
Now, let me appreciate the administration for its hard work. For the past semesters, you would see students and the administration in serious issues when it comes to titration, but nothing of such was displayed this semester.

Students were given the opportunity to write their exams without a zero-balance free payment, which is something I see as a great help to the students of this university. We are hoping that next semester be a better one.
