UP-Alliance Commends Boakai For Inclusion

The Unity Party (UP) Alliance of Political Parties has commended President Joseph Boakai for a government of inclusion and appointment of Alliance Party members in key government positions, as part of commitment made during his just ended SONA appearance.
Speaking to journalists in Monrovia, the alliance reaffirmed its commitment to the governing process and vowed to stand firm in promoting the Rescue Mission’s ARREST agenda.
According to the alliance, it will continue to put patriotism above the body politics, and will continue to ensure the overall agenda of the Boakai-led government.
“We applaud your hard work, Your Excellency Mr. President, in spanning economic growth across Liberia and proper representations of other Alliance member-parties into the governance processes of Liberia,” UP-Alliance said.
The UP-Alliance said it remains committed and ready to work together to ensure that the government is successful.
The alliance is calling on all other officials within the UP-Alliance parties to remain patient as the process of nomination is still ongoing.
