“They Killed My Father And Still After Us” …Exile Lady Cries In Pain A lady who is currently seeking refuge in the neighboring Guinea said she fled the country after some men claiming to be CID and secret service agents of the government killed her father and threatened to kill she and her mother. Speaking to this paper from exile, the lady who identified herself as Madusu Mamadee Kamara narrated that her father used to mined gold and diamond for former President Charles MacArthur Ghankay Taylor; that made him a target of harassment by state security officers. She added that on January 1, 2013 her father Mamade Kamara and her mother Maboron Kenneh, were picked up from their house in Liberia by the CID agents for questing at the station where they were tortured for hours. She lamented how her mother was kept in the criminal investigation for 20 hours and after the questioning, her mother returned with great fear while her father was killed. “When my mother was released, she escaped with me to Guinea Conakry for safety because we had no other family members in our home, I can’t go back home now because my life is in danger and I might get killed,” she explained.
