The Rollers Resurrecting As Two Players Top League Chart

One of Liberia’s most historical football clubs, Mighty Barrolle, has made an impressive come back this season, revitalizing its winning spirit after enduring several seasons of struggles and uncertainty.
The team has undergone a remarkable transformation, establishing itself as a formidable force in the Liberian top division football league as the competition draws closer to the ending of the first phase.
Currently, the two top goal scorers in the Liberia Football Association National First Division League are teammates at the Kanyon Pepper Boys Squad of Grand Bassa, in Clement Zubah and Nuch Zohn.
The lads have displayed a magnificent show of power and excellent sportsmanship since the start of the 2023/2024 league season. Mighty Barrolle as a team has scored 25 league goals in 11 matches, with the two lads contributing 20 of those goals.
Zohn netted his tenth league goal of the ongoing campaign in Mighty Barrolle’s last encounter in Grand Bassa against Cece United, which ended in a 4-1 win for the Rollers. He helped the club collect all three points to maintain their position at the top of the table. The 17-year-old has been brilliant in the club’s attacking arm and was one of two first-half scorers for Mighty Barrolle. His name has been recorded in the season’s record books as one of the few players with a remarkable scoring form, including some brilliant hat-tricks. The winger has scored 10 goals in 11 league games for the Rollers, making him one of the league’s current joint top scorers.
Clement Zubah moved significantly on Sunday against Cece United to level with his teammate, Nuch Zohn, atop the Orange First Division League Scoring Chart.
Zubah scored a hattrick in the Rollers’ 4-1 win over Cece United on Sunday, December 4, to take his goal tally to 10, with just a game left to close the first phase of the campaign.
The left-footed forward has been outstanding this season for the Rollers and has become a major contender for the league’s Golden Boot award.
On the pitch, the Rollers’ ascent to the top continues since the overtaking the league champions, Liberia Shipping and Cooperate Registry (LISCR), who are seated second on the table with the same points, but inferior goal difference.
The team’s exceptional form continued on Match-Day-11, as they dominated Cece United FC with a resounding 4-1 triumph at the Doris William Sports Stadium in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County.
The home ground of Mighty Barrolle, the Doris William Sports Stadium, has become a fortress where visiting teams struggle to thrive.
Notably, several prominent teams from the division have fallen victim to this trend, failing to secure victories as visitors.
Paynesville FC suffered a tough defeat, Heaven Eleven FC returned empty-handed, and FC Kallon Liberia left without success as well, unable to earn any points against the formidable Barrolle team.
Despite facing adversity during their encounter with Cece United, Mighty Barrolle displayed their resilience.
Reduced to nine players due to an early red card, they still managed to seal a victory against their opponents.
Although Cece United managed to find the net once, they were unable to capitalize on Barrolle’s numerical disadvantage.
Pags FC became the first team this season to face the mighty Barrolle squad in the Orange Cup, only to be eliminated from the cup after suffering a comprehensive defeat at the hands of the home team.
