Telia Becomes Koffa’s Senior Advisor

House Speaker Jonathan Fonati Koffa has appointed Telia Urey as his Senior Advisor on Foreign Affairs and Legislative Engagements.
According to Speaker Koffa, Madam Urey will spearhead his agenda to foster collaboration between the Legislature and other international legislative bodies.
The Speaker noted that Madam Urey will coordinate, advice and guide his foreign affairs initiatives within the Legislature, adding “She will work in concert with the House’s Committee on Foreign Affairs to foster integrity and transparency of that distinct body.”
Madam Urey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Economics from McGill University and a certification from the London School of Economics in Business, International Relations, and Political Economy.
Telia is a politician, philanthropist, and businesswoman with over a decade of experience in leading and directing enterprises across Africa.
Speaker Koffa believed that with her vast experience in foreign policy, Madam Urey will work diligently in bringing relief and dignity to the Legislature.
In her acceptance on her Facebook Page, Madam Urey expressed, “I am proud to announce that I have been appointed as the Senior Advisor on Foreign Affairs and Legislative engagements to the Speaker”
She stressed, “It is truly an honour to serve my country in this role and I thank Speaker Koffa for giving me this opportunity and for the confidence bestowed.”
