Team Keah Embarks On Door-To-Door As A Self-Initiative

A group of Liberians comprised mainly of young people based in Rocksprings Valley or Bishop Brooks in Electoral District #8 of Montserrado County has intensified its public community education awareness on the preventive measures against the coronavirus.
The group known as Team Anderson Keah began the sensitization of community residents by going from door-to-door as a self-initiative which is being commended although many people still doubt the existence of the virus in the country.
The group began the distribution of hand-washing buckets and other disinfectant materials to various households from Saye Town, Jallah Town, Warwein and Bassa Communities towards Perry Street, Slipway and Crown Hill as well as the Buzzie or Lorma Quarters.
Anderson Keah, Head of the group said Coronavirus must be everybody’s business and not only the government because disease or sickness does not know who is rich, poor, big and small whenever it breaks out in any country.
He said COVID-19 pandemic has a devastating effect on human lives and economies globally; therefore, it should not be taken for granted but must be approached aggressively by carrying massive awareness because of the public denial of the reality that the Coronavirus indeed exists.
“The disease has no vaccine or cure for now and is causing havoc on the global population. Therefore, let’s prevent it before it gets too late like what the Ebola did. Developed and other developing countries that we are supposed to be asking for help, are themselves struggling with the virus,” he noted.
Since the outbreak was announced on Monday, March 16, the country recorded its first case of COVID-19; many community-based organizations have joined the fray in carrying out the awareness about preventive measures.

The other day, while I was at work, my sister stole my iPad and tested to see if it can survive a 25 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is completely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
