TACC Wants Liberia Endorse Cryptocurrency

The Abundance Community Coin (TACC) wants Liberia to integrate its financial space to a more sustainable one by endorsing the introduction of Cryptocurrency.
According to the group’s definition of Cryptocurrency, “it is a digital financial transaction platform that seeks to go beyond the normal mobile money activities as well as adding interest on customer’s savings that could be used in every country.”
TACC is also a financial solution for the country’s future in order to have it on course with the global Community that will give a value to Liberia’s domestic currency.
Speaking at a news conference yesterday in Paynesville, the Chief Executive Officer of the Abundance Community Coin, Steve Williams narrated that the world is growing speedily and the best way to safeguard that financial cycle is to invest into cryptocurrency like TACC which has seen Liberia as an opportune point.
According to him, his company has plans underway for Liberia’s progress and faster development if the government will have some basic information of what cryptocurrency is to the world, most especially when it comes to the improvements in the living standards of the ordinary people.
He revealed that The Abundance Community Coin came to Liberia in May of 2021 with the initial target of launching the first cryptocurrency but was halted by a communication from the Central Bank of Liberia due to lack of an operational license.
“The Central Bank said that we should not launch the program as we planned to have done in May because they have not given us the license that was needed to have a cryptocurrency in Liberia,” he explained.
Abundance as he is affectionately called maintained that TACC is the solution to all of Liberia’s financial problem, and is the latest digital platform that is not only keeping people’s money but one that is also going to serve as an investment to the country.
“TACC does not need Liberia; it is Liberia that needs TACC because it will get the opportunities that follow this cryptocurrency project and Liberia will host the Headquarters of TACC,” he intimated.
Reginald Taylor, the National Coordinator for The Abundance Community Coin told journalists that Liberia as a country stands to hold many benefits which he termed as golden opportunities when the country joins that world and adopts TACC.
He said the company is currently on a Mass Students Adoption project across the country that thousands of schools and school- going children are getting aids to advance their lives.
According to him, the TACC Rool-back Malaria project, the Afro-Caribbean Cup of Nation and the Afro-Caribbean Musical, Cultural and Trade Festival are all activities that will be held as to allow the African Continent open up to other countries overseas for economic, social and other reasons.
