The Student Unification Party (SUP) has commended the University of Liberia (UL) administration for fully digitalizing all enrollment services.
According to a release under the signature of the co-chair for government affairs Kwein W. Kwein the digitalizing enrollment services is an outcome from SUP’s many advocacies for many years.
The release said that by embracing this digitalization initiative, the University of Liberia has not only modernized its admission processes but also enhanced accessibility and convenience for prospective students.
“This forward-thinking approach will undoubtful contribute to a more inclusive and student-centric learning environment,” the release said.
However, the release added that SUP has noticed that in recent weeks, there have been delays and inconsistencies in the distribution of admission letters to successful candidates.
“This has led to unnecessary anxiety and uncertainty among students who have rightfully earned their place at the State-run University, such delays did not only disrupt the student’s academic plans but also create logistical challenges for them and their families as they await official confirmation of their admission status,” the release said.
The statement also added that an urgent call is being made by SUP to the university administration to take immediate action to address these concerns and streamline the process of distributing admission letters.
Meanwhile, SUP congratulated all of its militants who recently graduated from the University of Liberia.
“This momentous occasion not only marks the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance but also serves as a testament to the unwavering commitment of our militants towards academic excellence and social progress,” the release said.
The statement maintained that UL has always been a credible of knowledge and a platform for nurturing leaders, SUP are therefore proud to have witnessed the immeasurable academic achievement of their leaders and militants who have successfully completed their academic journey at the nation’s premier institution of learning and have now transitioned to the larger society.
