Jeremiah Sokan has taken his seat among members of the 55th Legislature in the House of Representatives.
The official ceremony took place yesterday during its 1st day sitting of the second quarter, upon the resumption of the Legislature from its break, in accordance with rule 11 of the House of Representatives.
The body charged Representative Sokan to uphold the Constitution and diligently serve the interests of his constituents in Grand Gedeh County District 1.
As part of the ceremony, Representative Sokan presented his certificate of election to the Chief Clerk, demonstrating his commitment to upholding the standards set by the House.
Representative Sokan extended his appreciation to the constituents of Grand Gedeh County Electoral District 1 for their unwavering confidence in him, leading to his election, and affirmed his dedication to representing their interests and working towards the betterment of the district.
The induction ceremony marked the formal commencement of Representative Sokan’s duties in the House of Representatives, where he will contribute to the legislative process and advocate for the needs of his constituents.
