Single Barrels, Shots, Others Seized In Nimba

Report emanating from electoral district 7 says, the joint security over the weekend discovered and took seize of a huge consignment of single barrel shots along with few single barrel guns and pistols in Nimba.
Speaking to this paper in Ganta, one of the senior security officers confirmed that there were seven bags of single barrel shots along with seven pieces of long range single barrel guns and two single barrel pistols discovered.
According to the joint security, the gunshots and the single barrel long range guns were seize at the Saclepea Check Point on April 29, 2023.
This is the second discovery of gun shots in less than two months in the wake of the pending October presidential and representative elections in the country.
During the beginning of March 2023, huge arms and ammunition of AK-47 and GMG were found in a banana bush in the Blaglay Town Community outside Ganta.
The seizure of the huge single barrel gunshots and single barrel guns with single barrel pistols in the wake of the ongoing voters’ registration exercise is creating fear among the residents in the county.
When this paper contacted the Police Commander, Augustine Wari in Sanniquellie, he confirmed the seizure single barrel guns and gunshots.
