The Careysburg outfit, Shaita FC, has recruited several players, with majority coming from former Liberia Football Association Margibi Sub-Association Third Division Champions, New Horizon Football Academy.
The club has signed several players of New Horizon Football Club, which was dissolved from their league, after they failed to qualify for the national second division league, by their elimination from the 2023 edition of the national promotional playoff.
In recent days, the club captured the services of players like Emmanuel Gbeeme, formerly of New Horizon Football Academy, and Alphonso J. Zor of Tewor Football Club.
Also joining the Careysburg outfit club Shaita FC last weekend at the team’s official home in Careysburg, Montserrado County, were Fredrick Garway and Jonathan Kuoh.
The duo, Garway and Kuoh, joined their new side after being declared as free agents from dissolved Cotton Tree based club, New Horizon Football Academy of Margibi County.
Garway and Kuoh penned a lucrative three-year deal with Shaita FC on Sunday, 6 August 2023.
The transfers of Maryland County midfielder, Garway, and Margibi County defender Kuoh, to Shaita FC, has reunited them with former head Coach, Wattala Hne Moore.
Both players won the domestic league trophy with their former club New Horizon Football Academy, where they represented the Cotton Tree based club at three National Third Division Playoffs in Margibi, Grand Bassa and Montserrado Counties.
The youngsters will be hoping to make their debut in the Orange National League-2nd Division on September 10, against Pags FC at the George Weah Technical Center in Careysburg, at the start of the 2022-2023 league season of domestic league football.
