Senior Police Officers On Capacity Training In Ghana

A delegation of six senior officers of the Liberia National Police (LNP), led by Police Commissioner, Ambrues M. Nebo, have departed the country for Accra, Ghana, to participate in a week-long, high-profile training intended to build their capacities.
Those forming part of the delegation include the Commissioner of Police for Administration, Ambrues M. Nebo; Commissioner Emmanuel Doe Jlikan, and Assistant Commissioner of Police for CSD, Intel and Interpol, Rafell A. Wilson.
Others are Assistant Commissioner of Police, Varlee A. Sheriff; Assistant Commissioner of Police for WACPS, Susie Telleh-Bility, and CSD commander for Monrovia Region, and Superintendent Kendricks Doe.
Addressing the press yesterday, the Chief of Press and Public Affairs, Cecelia Clarke, stated that the training, which is taking place at the West Africa Regional Training Center in Accra, Ghana, is sponsored by the US Embassy and brings together participants from Liberia, Togo, Ghana, Cape Verde, Senegal, and Guinea Bissau.
According to her, the participants departed Monrovia on Sunday, May 19, 2024, and are being trained in Executive Leadership and Major Cases Management.
The West Africa Regional Training Center provides Law Enforcement instruction to combat Transnational organized crimes in West Africa, which is an initiative of US Department of States, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), and International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) program.
