Barely three weeks after Montserrado County Senator, Saah Joseph, broke ground for the construction of the multi-purpose three-storey building in district #11, he has promised to erect additional three colleges.
Senator Joseph also assured that he will complete his promises before his tenure expires as Senator of Montserrado County.
The Senator made the promise when he officially laid the first block complementing the construction of the multi-purpose complex over the weekend.
Speaking to a team of media practitioners at the New Matadi Gulf community, Sen. Joseph said when the completion of the multi-purpose education complex reaches 80%, he promised to build additional colleges in Bentol City, Mt. Barclay and in District #17.
The Senator’s Multi-purpose Technical College has taken form, worth one million United States dollars.
The project which he said buttresses the Pro-poor agenda, and when completed, will be a three- storey building, that will comprise of hardware and software computer labs, nursing and vocational centers, including nursery and secondary schools.
Senator Joseph stated further that upon completion, it is expected to be a tuition-free institution.
“The Multi-purpose education complex will consist of three storey building with modern library, modern digital computer lab, and an up-to-date laboratory,” he said.
Technical details: the complex is a 65-room structure which includes Administrative offices, classrooms, conference hall, auditorium and mini clinic.
