PUL @ 58 Gears Up In
Sanniquellie, Nimba County

The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) has invited all its auxiliaries, media executives, reporters and friends of the media to its 58th anniversary commemoration in Sanniquellie, Nimba County from September 28-30, 2022.
The PUL begun activities aligned with the celebration by the validation on a draft legislation and self-regulatory manual from the Personal Data Protection Forums yesterday bringing together journalists and media workers and on today, September 29, 2022, there will be field reporting trip to Yekepa and nearby communities.
On Friday, September 30, 2022, there will be a parade through the principal streets of Sanniquellie to give visibility to the PUL and allow the community see some of the nation’s top journalists
The official indoor program will take place right after the parade at which time NaFAA’s Director General, Emma Glassco, is expected to deliver the keynote address.
The PUL is the umbrella organization founded in Monrovia on September 30, 1964 serving Liberian media professionals and institutions with a membership base of more than 1,000 journalists across the country.
The PUL has oversight responsibility for addressing problems arising from journalists’ reportage and conduct in the face of the ever-growing demand for quality and good taste in addition to its foremost mandate of advocating for the protection of journalists.
