“Operation Redeem And Rescue Liberia 2023”
…Says UP Boakai

Former Vice President Joseph N. Boakai is calling on Liberians to treat the 2023 presidential and legislative elections as a matter of urgency in order to save Liberia from what he termed as ‘shame and disgrace’ being endure at the hands of the Weah-led administration.
“Fellow Liberians, partisans, well-wishers across Liberia this is no joke. This is an operation to redeem and rescue Liberia 2023. Experience makes the difference. And together we can make it happen,” he stressed.
“Let’s do this together. Get onboard. Let’s Think Liberia, Love Liberia, and together Build Liberia and make it a place where we can have our own share of the abundant natural resources,” VP Boakai assured.
“So as your captain on this rescue mission-2023, I am energized and determined to make President Weah a one-term President at next year’s polls. I am even more convinced that Liberians are ready to correct the 2017 error,” he said.
Boakai stressed, “In my lifetime of several years of dedicated public service to Liberia, I have never seen a government so irresponsible, incompetent, careless, non-patriotic and just utterly wicked as the CDC/Weah-led government.”
The UP’s standard-bearer made the call over the weekend when he and his entourage paid a courtesy visit to residents and supporters in the Soul Clinic community in District 4, Montserrado County.
He alongside his party’s Chairperson, Luther Tarpeh and Representative Rustolyn Dennis received a rousing welcome from the community’s residents.
Political slogans were chanted: “Joseph Boakai our choice, that the old raising car we want in 2023. With Boakai Liberia is safe as our next President, among others.”
Boakai stated that what is more frustrating is that these were the very people condemning everything six years ago, today, they have exposed themselves so badly to the Liberian people within the shortest space at the helm of power.
He said the country is suffering not only from uncontrollable corruption but also bad governance, which includes a broken down educational system, poor health delivery facilities, continual human rights abuses, deteriorating economic conditions among others.
Boakai added, “Our staple food, rice, is rarely seen in market places. Liberians going to buy rice have now been forced to buy other goods even if they don’t want to. School fees, rape cases and mysterious killings are all on the increase and nothing is being done by our government to address this malice.”
“Citizens can no longer afford a meal a day, while those entrusted with power are living luxurious lives at the expense and detriment of the voting masses. But I say to you today, enough is enough because the time has come for us all to join forces to rescue and redeem our beloved Liberia from these criminals,” he maintained.
