One Goal Identifies With Orphans

An athletic club, One Goal Social and Athletic Club in Duport Road, Paynesville on Saturday, December 21st, 2019 donated several assorted items to the Children Relief Ministries.
The items comprised of food and one food items worth more than a thousand United States Dollars.
Making the presentation; the President of One Goal Social and Athletics Club, Samuel D. Taye told journalists that his organization saw the need to identify with the children during the festive season and further stated that the plight of the Liberian children was everyone’s concern, and as such, all Liberians need to help government put smiles on the faces of those who cannot afford.
He lauded the Liberian Government for the level of peace it continues to maintain but also wants other well-meaning Liberians emulate same. He said if all Liberians were into this, there would be some relief, as the fight to put smiles on the faces of the unprivileged should be everyone’s concern.
Also speaking, the focus person for the project, Robert Garway said, the aims and objectives of the social club was also to serve humanity and according to him, there are hundreds and thousands of Liberians, mainly women and children who are going through the stress of not finding food to eat.
For his part, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nyudueh Morkonmana admonished the orphans who are predominantly kids to keep focused and learn.
Meanwhile, receiving the items, one of the orphans, Patience Myers lauded the One Goal family for thinking about them. She further stated that it was the first for a fitness organization to have them at heart at least to provide food and none food items to them. Although the son of the proprietor of the Orphanage home, Moses Kargbo was there; but he declined to speak.
The donation ceremony was attended by a host of members of the fitness club, the One Goal Social and Athletic Club, orphans of the Children Relief Ministries as well as the media.
