On Redlight-Kakata Highway: All Occupants Died In Tragic Motor Accident

Reports monitored by this medium say a devastating accident that occurred late Sunday evening, claimed the lives of all 18 occupants on the major route between Montserrado and Margibi Counties.
The incident, according to reports, occurred between 7 to 8 PM when a bus, reportedly carrying 18 passengers from Kakata, collided with a stationary truck loaded with a large quantity of wooden planks.
Some eyewitnesses told the media that the bus was traveling at a high speed when it crashed into the parked truck, leading to the catastrophic damage and loss of life.
According to them, 13 occupants were pronounced dead on the scene, while the remaining five who were severely injured later succumbed to death upon arrival at nearby medical facilities in Margibi and Montserrado Counties.
Medical teams and first responders from surrounding areas were dispatched quickly to provide emergency assistance and transport survivors to healthcare facilities.
However, the severity of the injuries proved fatal for those taken in for treatment, as confirmed by medical personnel.
This tragedy has cast a somber shadow over both Margibi and Montserrado Counties, with many grieving the lives lost in the accident, attributing the situation to lack of lightening system along that route.
Community members have all expressed concerns over speeding and road safety issues, highlighting the need for preventive measures to avoid similar accidents in the future, while local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
