Oakwood Green Africa Limited (Oakwood Green), in partnership with the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and the Ministry of Trade and Industry, is having an inaugural Afreximbank Liberia Trade Roadshow on May 16-17, 2023 in Monrovia.
The event will focus on promoting trade within the African continent, with a specific emphasis on supporting businesses and institutions involved in trade to explore opportunities for trade financing and structuring support.
The theme for the roadshow is “Supporting the Intra-Africa Trade Drive: Ensuring the Last Mile,” which aligns with Afreximbank’s mission of financing and promoting intra-and-inter-African trade.
The roadshow will provide a platform for collaboration and exploration of new investment and trade opportunities for businesses and investors across the continent.
The event will feature discussions with government and business entities on funding initiatives aimed at increasing Liberia’s participation in intra-Africa trade.
One of the highlights of the roadshow will be Afreximbank’s funding support for African businesses and institutions, with Oakwood Green playing a critical role as the last mile partner for entities and institutions seeking funding from Afreximbank within the African continent.
Stakeholders in the trade industry are invited to participate in this year’s roadshow and take advantage of the opportunities available to finance and develop their businesses.
The event will culminate in the launch of the Intra-Africa Trade Fair in Cairo in November 2023, making it an exciting time for businesses and investors in Liberia and beyond.
As Oakwood Green Africa Limited, Afreximbank, and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry are committed to promoting Liberia’s economic development and intra-Africa trade and investment, the roadshow will be a valuable opportunity for participants to engage with key stakeholders and explore opportunities for growth and expansion.
